Also, fully owning and operating a Flood Door Manufacturing Facility.

Building on our continued success, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a permanent basis, assisting our delivery team with commercial support. They should also be keen to develop new skills, in what is a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties:
  • Take commercial responsibility for several projects at any one time.
  • Provide commercial support and work closely with site teams and senior managers.
  • Ensure timely submission of interim valuations, leading through to final account agreement and retention release.
  • Price and agree compensation events/variations.
  • Ensure receipt of payments in line with the conditions of contract.
  • Produce regular financial forecasts from project commencement through to completion.
  • Attend both project and company meetings as required
  • Sub-contractor procurement, interim assessment, final account agreement and payment
  • Undertake monthly cost value reconciliations (CVR’s)
  • Provide pretender analysis and support to our bid team as and when required

Person Specification

  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Problem solving skills and innovative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Experience of Microsoft 365 desired
  • Driving Licence essential

The candidate should ideally be degree educated in Quantity Surveying or a construction related subject, but this is not a prerequisite.
