We were appointed by Tyseley Energy Park to undertake access road construction into a new low and zero emission refueling hub, alongside casting of in-situ concrete bases for electric vehicle charging bays, vehicle wash facility, hydrogen compound and diesel tanks. Works also included drainage and ducting for the facilities, installation of pre-cast concrete walls and ground stabilisation as the site is located next to a river.

Collaborating with all stakeholders enabled development of construction methods and techniques that would achieve best value for Tyseley Energy Park, including construction of concrete bases in-situ resulting in shortened programme and reduced costs.

Topped with a gabion basket system, the river bank remained sympathetic to the natural environment alongside providing long-term benefits through installation of an erosion resistant retaining structure.

Part funded by the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership, this flagship facility will be capable of refuelling up to 500 vehicles per day with hydrogen, compressed natural gas and biodiesel fuels, as well as offering rapid electric chargers.

Allocating our highly trained and experienced Engineers and Operatives allowed the box culverts to be installed with pin-point precision. We completed the project meeitng time and budget restrains and have been praised on our works by David Horsfall of Tyseley Energy Park.

Directly employing our entire workforce on a PAYE basis and wholly owning our internal plant holding enables us to take direct control of delivery, resulting in ‘right first time, every time’ completion.
