Essential infrastructure upgrades were required to the existing gas main serving the campus and our delivery teams were engaged to deliver these works during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our Project Delivery Team were appointed to work with Cadent Gas and Nottingham University Hospital (NUH) to deliver these works, alongside various other specialist suppliers. NUH’s main objective was to complete delivery with no disruption to day-to-day activities and continue the vital work of the City Campus staff during unprecedented times.
Working collaboratively at each critical milestone, our Contracts Manager and Site Managers were able to manage specialists; supervising programme, quality of workmanship and H&S to deliver works efficiently. The safety critical environment, with a large number of stakeholders and requiring communication and management of a large number of contractors, required significant planning, coordinating and resourcing.
