Whitehouse Construction is a leading Civil Engineering SME.

We are a family run business directly employing our entire workforce on a PAYE basis, recognising that our people make our business the success it is today.

We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Buying Team on a permanent basis in Ashbourne.

As a Buyer you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and ordering of materials needed on site.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Support the Buying Team in product selection and pricing strategies.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a buying role or procurement role within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in using purchasing systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to sell ideas effectively.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
