Nestle Buxton - Rockhead Pipeline

Whitehouse construction case study
Ecological management
Significant traffic management
Large number of stakeholders

Nestle Waters UK, based in Buxton, produce the No.1 British natural mineral water brand – Buxton Water

Located in the picturesque High Peak countryside, they pride themselves on using 100% renewable energy and maintaining a low environmental impact.

We shared this value when constructing a new 4,500m pipeline though the High Peak to serve the bottled water manufacturing facility. Engaging with ecologists and environmental specialists, we preserved the natural environment, reinstating the biodiversity of the area upon completion.

Working Together

Works in the highway formed an extensive part of the project, with trenches up to 4m deep in places. Instating significant traffic management coupled with effective supervision saw the A6 opened two days earlier than planned.

Sharing Nestle’s beliefs and initiatives, this project was completed in an environmentally friendly manner, helping to forge a sustainable future.

What did they think?

"The quality of the work and more importantly the management of the entire site and the working practices/engrained culture of the lads has been exemplary."

Just a quick note to thank Whitehouse and acclaim the site team you have provided here at Buxton on the Pipeline Project. The quality of the work and more importantly the management of the entire site and the working practices/engrained culture of the lads has been exemplary.
