Following significant flooding events, Derbyshire County Council appointed us to undertake supply & installation of Property Flood Resilience measures to 6 properties in the West Hallam area. Our directly employed flood mitigation installation teams installed a range of products from Flood Doors through to automatic airbricks.
Following initial consultation with homeowners in a community engagement event, our dedicated PFR Coordinator contacted homeowners to arrange a suitable time and date for measurement survey appointments. Allocating our highly experienced mitigation teams, measurement surveys were undertaken to ascertain exact measurements for manufacture / procurement of PFR measures.
Communicating measurements with our Production Lead allowed manufacture of Flood Doors at our in-house facility. We are able to manufacture bespoke flood doors in a wide range of colours, styles and finishes to meet individual homeowners requirements achieving complete customer satisfaction.
Installation was undertaken by our directly employed installation teams, with one Lead Installer and one Installer. Working to agreed Risk Assessments and safe systems of work considering site-specific risks such as access restrictions, all works were completed in a safe, efficient manner and to a high-quality standard.
Following installation, in-depth training was provided to homeowners and they were supplied with homeowner information packs. This allows homeowners to take ownership of the products post-installation and we ensure they can deploy / activate their measures in a flooding event.
